The team is a group of superheroes that arise from the government’s special project, co-sponsored by the mega corporation Dotz Red, seen as the symbol and plan of the best way to reconnect with the populace through glamorous icons that can appeal to people of all ages. They are the living communication tool, the best P.R. front for the government, yet are capable of handling local and international crises, honed as the perfect fighting unit, flexible and powerful enough to cope with both covert and direct confrontations.
Leo
Leo is an anomaly; the only known member of his race and as a result, suffered discrimination and racists attacks since childhood. Kept as a pet by the rich, it was not until in the later part of life that Leo became conscious of who he was. Leo suddenly turned savage and escaped. He was hunted down and captured by the government who decided to "safeguard" him into the group as another member.
Lee
Not much is known about Lee’s past but most people think that he is an orphan as he seems to live alone without any family members. It is widely believed that Lee was adopted and brought up by an old couple who has since passed away. When he reached the legal age, Lee immediately signed on with the Military. Although a loner, Lee graduated from the academy with flying colours, topping the class in almost all categories as a cadet. He currently lives on a government-sponsored top floor penthouse building within the City Hall.
Maia
Born to single parent who left her to be brought up by her aunt, Maia never knew who her real mother was. As a result of a lack of love and attention, Maia grew up a typical rebellious person who was a school dropout seemingly headed for the dumps before one of her friends signed her up for the “Heroes Idol” competition without her knowledge. She discovered in between the show that she really had some kind of powers that allowed her to manipulate the people around her and it was no surprise when she emerged as the champion. She sees her joining the team as her stepping stone to riches and fame and is determined to milk the situation for what its worth.
Aiyana
Aiyama seems to have been alive for a very, very long time, being an ethereal spirit commonly known in Malay as Pontianak. It was said that when she was alive, she was a common Malay woman who fell in love with a Caucasian immigrant and was ostracized and thrown out of her village by her family and relatives. She was left alone when her husband died suddenly and was set upon by a group of strangers who thought she was a disgrace to her race. They drowned her in a well and over time, the well was abandoned and a banana tree grew over it. The well and her story was soon forgotten.
Kris
Adopted son to a pair of Chinese immigrants, Kris' prodigious talents and mind was recognized from a very young age when he became the youngest chess grandmaster at the age of 7. He earned a scholarship to Harvard and graduated with distinction at age 10 – however he showed difficulty in adapting to the children environment, preferring to stick with his adult friends. Knowing that he will struggle to adapt socially, his parents asked the government for help and Kris was assigned to the team ever since.
